I am...

Reading...The Four Seasons by Mary Alice Monroe.

Listening to...Amazon Prime's holiday station.

Loving...that I am in the dementia unit all week. I don't have to deal with my snarky boss.

Thinking...that I need to start wrapping presents.

Feeling...kind of blah. I'm doing the prep tonight for a colonoscopy first thing in the morning.

Celebrating...Colton's birthday. He will be three on Friday and his party is on Saturday. Also celebrating that it's my weekend off so I can be there.

Grateful...to be snuggled up with my pup and the laptop and enjoying the Christmas lights while it POURS outside.

Weather...today was rainy, but 56*. Tomorrow the rain is supposed to continue, but the temp will drop and the rain will turn to a wintry mix.

Enjoying...the holidays and everyone's good cheer.

A thought to share...

  2. Good for you, stepping up to the plate on the colonoscopy. Last time I recall conducting a major pity-party for myself.
How can Colton be celebrating his 3rd birthday already? Blink and next, he'll be driving!

  4. Yeah...um...the dr. and insurance company are trying to force that issue...and so far, I am not letting it happen. I have had enough of being poked and prodded --just not doing it. lol--good luck.

Happy birthday to your grandson. smiles

  5. The prep is always worse than the actual procedure. My last one, I had to drink Miralax which made it easier - just poured it in some Gatorade so at least didnt have to deal with a yucky taste.

  6. Ugh! A colonoscopy. I haven't had one for nearly 30 years. (Yes, I had one at 28, due to "issues.") Although I know it's recommended for people my age, I haven't had one since.

I love Amazon Prime's music stations. I've been listening to their "Jazz Christmas" for the past several days.

Happy birthday to your grandson. I'm so glad you are off and able to go to his party.

    Have a great day,
    Patti

  7. Hi Stacy, nice to "meet" you. I also have a colonoscopy in the near future, the joys of getting older. I'm 54, how did that happen? I love finding new blogs to read, hope your procedure goes well, and I'll be back:)
