Sunday Stealing: Would You Rather...

Thanks to Bev @ Sunday Stealing for hosting our get-together every week and finding the questions that make us think!

1. Would you rather be able to detect any lie you hear or get away with any lie you tell?  I don't like to lie and try not to, so I guess I'd rather be able to detect lies others tell by default. I'm not sure I'd really want to do that, either. I have a feeling I'd be very disappointed in a lot of people.

2. Would you rather be a hopeless romantic or a hopeless unromantic?  I'd rather not be an extreme of either, but if you are forcing me to choose....I'd take hopeless romantic because that person is probably happy, while the other is probably not.

3. Would you rather have too many friends or too few?  Too few. I'm an introvert and having too many friends would overwhelm me. I'm happiest with a small band of good friends I can count on.

4. Would you rather have no taste buds or be blind?  No taste buds! That should make it a lot easier to lose weight. Ha!

5. Would you rather never hear music again or lose the ability to read?  Oh boy, I don't know. Both of those are pretty important to me. Again, if I have to choose one...I'll go with never hearing music again, because I could at least hear the music I've hear up until now in my mind.

6. Would you rather find true love or be rich?  I've got true love. Could you throw the money at me now? I don't need to be rich, just secure.

7. Would you rather be the richest person or the smartest?  Smartest because I could use my big brain to think of a way to get rich, but if I was dumb, I might lose all my money making bad choices.

8. Would you rather create history or delete it?  Create.....wait. Do you mean make it up? If so, then I would rather do neither one! I am not in favor of creating false history or erasing the history we've got. History is just that and we should learn from it, not pretend it didn't happen.

9. Would you rather create a great piece of art and not get credit or get credit for a piece of art you didn’t create?  Not get credit. I don't want to take credit for anyone else's work.

10. Would you rather age from the neck up, or from the neck down.  The neck down. With what I see every day at work, I know without a shadow of a doubt that I do not want to have a healthy body with a brain turned to pudding.

11. Would you rather see the world but live in poverty or stay in one place and live rich?  I'm wondering how I'd see the world if I'm poor? What are the circumstances? Have I been sold into slavery? Am I a missionary? If I were younger and the circumstances weren't awful I'd probably go for seeing the world, but the older I get, the less willing I am to take chances with life.

12. Would you rather become famous or powerful?  I could be wrong, but I think it would be better to be powerful without fame than to be famous. If famous, I would probably punch a paparazzi and end up on the cover of the National Enquirer.

13. Would you rather be a creative person or a technical person?  Creative.

14. Would you rather get a paper cut whenever you touch paper or bit your tongue whenever you eat something?  Paper cut.

15. Would you rather wake up in the morning looking like a giraffe or a kangaroo?  Um.....I'm stumped.

16. Would you rather speak “whale” or read babies’ minds.  Read babies' minds. They sleep 2/3 of the day...how bad could it be?

17. Would you rather eat pizza every day or never eat pizza again?  Eat pizza every day! I love pizza. There is no life without pizza!

18 Would you rather stay forever at your current age or be 10 years younger?  I'm content with my mental, emotional, and spiritual condition at my present age, but I just might choose to be 10 years younger because I didn't yet have all these aches and pains at that age.
