Happiness Challenge: Day 29

I still had a lot of training to sit through at the job today, but a couple of things made me happy. 

It's employee appreciation week and today they had a very nice catered picnic outside of the corporate headquarters. Thanks to how sore my broken tooth has made my tongue I couldn't really enjoy the food, but it was a nice chance to meet and talk with some of the other workers.

I also got to meet some of the residents in the dementia wing (where I think I will work most of the time). Some of them are so sweet. One woman grabbed onto my hand and we talked and when I had to go, one of the other aides assured her I would be back and she said, "Good, because she's just lovely." Awww.
