I called off work today, something I very rarely do, and only with good reason. Today...I could have worked, probably, but decided to allow myself a day off. My nose is still throbbing (a trip to Med-Express yesterday resulted in a diagnosis of a soft-tissue infection) and I can feel it on the whole right side of my face. Even my teeth hurt from it and my glasses sit right on it. I can only use Tylenol for the pain since I'm on Celebrex for my joint pain and Tylenol does a good job but only for 2-3 hours and then I have to wait for the 4 hour mark to take another dose. I just didn't want to deal with the gap hours at work.
So, since I'm home I plan to be productive and do all the things I didn't do yesterday on my scheduled day off because I had to go to the doctor's and babysit the grands all afternoon. Tons of laundry is begging to be done, I'm not discussing the kitchen, and I really want to start on the spare bedroom since my hubby cleared all the materials from the bathroom remodel out of it over the weekend. It's the first time in 2 years I've been able to get more than 2 feet past the door. It needs a good cleaning and airing out and then, hopefully, I can make room for all of our grandson's toys that have been residing in the living room.
But first, a shower.
Have an awesome Wednesday!
** Terri, I hope you are healing and getting stronger. I sure do miss the Wednesday Medley!
OUCHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTry & enjoy some REST on this unplanned day off!
Oh, that business with your nose sounds worse than I imagined! I never had much success with OTC Tylenol. But! At my last PCP's visit she suggested I buy Tylenol Arthritis (625 mg.) and that's made ALL the difference with my lower back.
