Questions from Joe Mazello's bitch.
Bohemian Rhapsody - What matters to you more than anything in the world? My faith, closely followed by my marriage and family.
Don’t Stop Me Now - What makes you feel unstoppable? I can't think of any one thing specifically. I just know that some days I wake up feeling confident...sort of 10 feet tall and bullet proof. I think it's a combination of things (life going well, having a good hair day, feeling confident at whatever I'm doing, getting a compliment, great weather, etc.).
Another One Bites The Dust - What one thing would you wipe off the face of the earth? Cell phones. I really don't think they are progress.
Under Pressure - How stressed are you currently? Not that much. Life is good!
We Will Rock You - What was the last concert you went to? I think it was the Newsboys. Or maybe it was Toby Keith? One of those, anyway. I wish I was at the Casting Crowns concert that is beginning in about 5 minutes in Pittsburgh.
Somebody To Love - Are you looking for somebody to love? Nope. I haven't been looking since I met my hubby 35 years ago...and life with him has brought me plenty of others to love (our kids and now grandkids).
We Are The Champions - What achievement are you most proud of? Staying married for nearly 35 years in this age of disposable marriages and raising two kids who have grown up to be good people who add to the world, rather than just take from it.
Radio GaGa - What do you think of today’s popular music? There are some songs I like, but on the whole I don't care for a lot of the language or the messages being spread. I have become that person pretty much stuck on the music of my youth.
I Want To Break Free - If you could move to any part of the world, where would you want to live? I'd definitely like to be somewhere warmer, but I don't know how to choose. Every part of the world has it's own problems and dangers (be they political or weather related). I suppose my happy place, Chincoteague Island, VA, might work though it does still get cold there.
Love Of My Life - Have you ever had your heart broken? Of course. No one gets through life without having at least one broken heart.
Killer Queen - What is your favourite thing about yourself? I am resilient, adaptable, and stronger than I usually think I am.
The Show Must Go On - What is something you will never give up? My faith. And books.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Name some of your favourite musicians. I so hate these kinds of questions. I like so many! Toby Keith, The Eagles, Benny Goodman, Jon Bon Jovi, George Strait, Billy Joel, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, Lynryd Skynyrd, Guns 'n' Roses, CCR, The Kinks, Eric Clapton....
Who Wants To Live Forever - If you could be immortal, would you? No. I'm sure heaven is waaaaay better and beyond anything here. Plus, I don't think I would want to watch everyone I love die and still be here. I think it would be rather lonely.
Fat Bottomed Girls - What are some traits you look for in a partner? Honesty, integrity, kindness, a sense of humor, a shared faith.
I Want It All - If you could have anything in the world, what would it be? Enough money to pay off all of our debt, hire someone to do the things we need and/or would like to have done around here, and have enough to cushion retirement.
We answered more than a few almost the same! Mine will post at 5:00 a.m. I happen to like Queen and these questions were sure fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat answers! I'm a Newsboys fan too.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers. Thanks for visiting mine.
ReplyDeleteOur answers are very similar! I love the Newsboys, they put on a great show! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI have found myself listening to oldies stations too. In the last year or two I have not approved of much of the music...hahahahha I do love Lady Gaga's song from her movie, but I have never heard it on the radio.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have enough money to pay off all of our debt. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

Hi Stacy. I enjoyed reading all your answers. Loved the cellphone one. LOL.. I too prefer music of my youth. I think a lot of us do. Have a day of blessings.
ReplyDeleteAdaptable! I'm pretty sure that label would never be applied to me … but ya, I admire it in others. Your successful marriage and children is definitely something to crow about!
ReplyDeleteNice, thoughtful answers. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, immortality and watching everyone else die? That would be HELL - a place most of us want to avoid.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week at the new job. No worries and no troubles.
No cell phones? ooooohhhhhnooooooo.. lol
Good answers. I hope you find the money you need.
ReplyDeleteI am furiously trying to catch up on blog life. We just watched Bohemian Rhapsody this weekend. I love the music but the story left me kind of melancholy. I thught the film was well done and the resemblance to real band members was crazy. I'm with you on immortality!
