Good morning! I hope it is exactly that for you. I'm feeling good after actually sleeping for 7 hours last night. Woo-hoo! That is unheard of for me. It was a working weekend for me, so nothing exciting to tell.

Currently

I am...

Reading...still working on The Oracle and just finished An Alaskan Christmas so need to choose another fiction read.

Listening to...

Loving...how excited Colton is about the Halloween decorations his mommy and daddy put up over the weekend.

Thinking...I'm glad I didn't see the news yesterday because one of four inmates that escaped in Ohio was spotted twice in our area yesterday. First at a Sheetz gas station and then at our local mall...which ended up being evacuated! He and two others are back in custody as of this morning, but one is still on the loose. There is enough concern that one local school is delaying classes today. Since his buddies have all been caught I hope he has left the area.

Feeling...good.

Celebrating...our son's 33rd birthday (how did that happen???) is Wednesday.

Grateful...for a life filled with small blessings and spared of tragedy.

Weather...rain this morning then clearing with a high of 80 degrees.

Enjoying...Hershey's Gold Caramel Creme w/ Pretzel Bits Kisses. Seriously.

A thought to share...

  1. I so love that there are 365 Fear not's or do not be afraid's in the Bible. God is so awesome like that. So, was "Alaskan Christmas" good? I'm wanting to be sure to take some Christmas Fiction books on vacation with me next month. Is it a romance or mystery or what?

    1. God was definitely making a point!
Alaskan Christmas was good except for the love scenes. I was caught off guard by how explicit they were. I'd skip it if I were you.

Smiling through wet eyes at that video … one of my all-time favorite songs.

  3. I can remember being little & when my mom would tape up decorations on our window for Halloween - it was the best!!!
Oh gosh - sometimes ignorance is bliss, huh? I would have been a nervous wreck.

    1. Yeah, I would have been glued to the tv had I known it was going on.

    1. I think it's good when we keep the excitement and wonder into adulthood. :)
